AT THE DOCTOR'S

Los/as alumnos/as de 6º se han convertido en médicos y pacientes durante un rato. El vocabulario del cuerpo, enfermedades y algunas expresiones propias de una visita al médico nos han servido para que los alumnos elaboren un pequeño diálogo y lo representen en la clase ante sus compañeros. El resultado está siendo excelente. CONGRATULATIONS CHILDREN!!!!

MONSTERS
Hello everybody!!
Next Tuesday and Wednesday we are going to the Gran Teatro to see "MONSTERS"
Nos vamos al Gran Teatro para ver la obra en inglés "Monsters". El martes iremos las clases de segundo ciclo y el miércoles tercer ciclo.
La obra está representada por actores de habla inglesa lo cual supone una oportunidad genial para escuchar inglés.
Por otro lado, durante esta semana estamos trabajando el contenido de la obra: el vocabulario, los personajes, el guión ... Algunas escenas las hemos escuchado en clase y lo mismo con las canciones. Todo para que cuando estemos viendo la representación nos resulte más sencillo comprender la trama.
En la obra, dos hermanos Jack y Susan se encuentran perdidos en una casa en la cual se han refugiado para huir de una gran tormenta. Claro que ... la casa está ocupada por unos monstruos un poco peculiares, ya que al final son Jack y Susan quienes han de ayudarles. Al final, en agradecimiento, los monstruos les dan una fiesta de despedida antes de que sus padres vengan a recogerles.
Por cierto el primer ciclo irá a ver la obra Igloo, el mismo martes.
La diversión está asegurada. Seguro que lo pasaremos genial!!

I really like this film I was impressed. I liked the characters, Pandora, the plants, the 3D effect, lots of things ... and of course the message, WE MUST TAKE CARE THE EARTH.
